Liam's Birthday Smash

 Liam just had his first birthday, so we celebrated with cake!

Here he is as a newborn. Look how dark his hair was!!

He LOVED the balloons, but got very serious when we pulled out the cake.

Elliot Turns One

 Elliot gets one last set of pictures before his first birthday. Oh, them babies grow so fast.

Hinson | Parker Family

 The whole Hinson family was in town for Mother's Day and wanted to make sure to get group pictures while they were all together. And we sure had a great time. 

These cousins are just a few months apart. I can't believe how alike they look. 

I did lots of peek-a-boo with this sweetheart.

They all seemed truly happy to be together, lots of "awww's", smiles, and laughter. 

What a great way to spend Mother's Day!!

Oma's Visit

My friend, Brandy's mom was in town and wanted some pictures with the grandkids. What a great keepsake for her! I should really do that with my mom.

We discovered after a couple pictures that the ground was covered with ants. That really limited our poses, but we made it work.

Ryan & Kari

 Kari's family has been friends with my family since we were all kids, but they all moved away years ago, so I was thrilled when she told me she was going to be in town and wanted me to do engagement pictures. 

Mr. Kari (aka Ryan - I'm sure he prefers Mr. Kari though ) got a chance to see a little of Kari's hometown.

During the shoot, I had a moment where I realized I hadn't done any pictures of the ring. Then I proceeded to do SEVERAL ring pictures. These are some of my favorite.

I really had a hard time picking which pictures to include on my blog!! There were so many that were my favorites. 

Ryan really is a sweetheart. I'm so happy for them and can't wait for the wedding!!

Baby Bump

This is a good friend of mine who is expecting baby #2 any day now!! I've already got tons of newborn ideas saved on my Pinterest board that I can't wait to try out.

Dad's a golfer. I thought the golf course was not only beautiful, but so appropriate for their family.

"August" was on my baby boy name list, too. Love it! I hope they call him "Gus".  

Mitzi has the best fashion sense and ALWAYS looks so put together, even at 8 months pregnant. 

I love the look in big brother's eyes - he's just so handsome.  

Can't wait to meet you, Little August.

Rose-Colored Lenses

Back in December, I did our Christmas pajama shoot with my friends, the Roses. We always intended on doing a non-seasonal shoot, too, but just now got around to doing it. So without any further delay, I present, the Rose Family...this time, out of bed...

They just got this new red truck, so we had to include it in a picture, too. Matches the boots, right?
