I was worried when I pulled up to Fort Concho and saw some pretty dark clouds threatening my shoot. But these kids were amazing, and we were able to get some great shots despite the storm rolling in

 

All three boys loved taking pictures and smiled the entire time. Mom didn't bribe them or anything. I was blown away. 

The cousins came for a few pictures, too. 

Jason and Tatiana's Wedding

 This spring, I had the incredible honor of assisting the talented Mandi Hagenbuch from Click Life Photography with the wedding of Jason and Tatiana. Mandi and I met last fall when she was looking for a second shooter, and I was anxious to give it a whirl. We hit it off immediately, and I was so excited to help her with this wedding. 

It was predicted to be a scorching hot day, but ended up being a perfectly beautiful overcast afternoon.

It was an exhausting day, but Mandi was so fun to work with and her talent inspires me. Thanks, Mandi!!

Brittni

Brittni just graduated from college this last year and hadn't had any fun pictures taken before so she gave me a call. 

 

And I'm thrilled that she did!

Brittni has the most beautiful red hair. I really had fun photographing her. I was wishing I had brought a stool, though. I think she's close to 6 feet in her wedges. And poor 5'4" me in my flip flops.

Williams Family

 Road Trip...

Ok, so it was only 45 minutes away, but I'll take all the alone time I can get.

The Williams kids are an absolute blast. Matthew is known as "the funny Matthew" with my boys. 

Isn't Emily gorgeous?

And don't think Wyatt can't keep up with his big brother. He's just as much of a hoot as Matthew.

After chasing around these kiddos, it was one of those shoots where I left thinking, "I have no idea what I got," but I'm so happy with how they turned out. Sometimes those are the best shoots.
