Wilson Family ~ Lubbock, Texas Family Photographer~

Let me introduce you to my best friend, Amanda and all of her family. Amanda, her husband, and all of her kiddos live all the way in Arizona, but came to Lubbock for Christmas (I was very happy about this idea). So they decided that it'd be a good time to do a big extended family photos, with her parents, sister, and brother in law.

So in Texas Tech colors, we went over to Tech to celebrate some of the alumni in her family.

A.J. finally smiled after farting on mom's lap!

These poor kids from the desert were so cold in our Texas winter.

Julie and Sam met in this exact building years ago!

Paisley ~Lubbock, Texas Newborn Photographer~

This last Christmas Eve, my sister and I got to meet Little Miss Paisley.  Don't you love that name!?!?

Paisley is the 6th child in the Danforth's house. These Lubbock families are making me and my four look like light-weights.

Lockett Family ~San Angelo, TX Family Photographer~

I've done photo sessions for the last few years with the Lockett girls, but this was the first time that Mom joined them. I know these girls will treasure these moments with their mom, so I'm really glad she did decided to get in front of the camera this time.
It was a crazy windy day, but the winds died down a bit for our session. Yay!

Terrell Family ~San Angelo, Texas Family Photography~

Robin and I had scheduled her family's session on a weekend of crazy rain predictions. I was only in town for a few days, so it was either going to have to be then or after Christmas. There was a 90% chance of rain all day until that evening when it was suppose to taper off. Guess when it actually rained. Yep! In the evening when her session was scheduled. So we decided to go to Ft. Concho where there'd be a little shelter under the porches. I wasn't sure how well it'd work, but was so happy with the results.

I've known Robin since years ago when she was leading a MOPS group. I met a lot of great friends there and I'm so glad to call her one of them. Such a beautiful lady, inside and out!

When we were finishing up, the rain had drizzled out and left us this beautiful sky. So worth enduring the rain.

Williams Family ~San Angelo, TX Family Photographer~

Jaymie has grown to be one the biggest supporters of my photography endeavor. She's referred several families to me, and I was even able to meet one of my brides through her. In all that, I had never shot her own family! So finally, I had the opportunity this last fall to say, "thank you" by giving my dear friend and encourager some family photos.
It took a little effort to show off her baby bump - what little of one she had. Seven months pregnant with her fourth and she's still tiny.

Thank you, again, Jaymie!

Parks Family ~San Angelo, Texas Family Photography~

We almost didn't get to do this session for Juleen and her family. She had won a session at an auction fundraiser for a friend of ours who is in the process of adopting. Summer got away from us and then with our family moving, it made it even more tricky. We finally settled on a time the weekend I came down and then the weather went wacko on us - 90% chance of rain!
But we worked it out to have her session right before church that Sunday morning.
I'm so glad we were able to work this session in. They were an unbelievably fun and a genuinely happy family.

In this photo, I just told them to look at each other and they just all started laughing. That to me is perfection.
